Organisation of thematic days

The Herbipôle co-organises every 2 years, with the chambers of agriculture of Cantal and Puy-de-Dôme, a thematic day called « Grass of our mountains ». The objective of this day is to present the technical benefits of integrating the results of the research on the grazing management and the management of grassland in the mountains. This event, which is open to agricultural education and agricultural professionals, attracts a large and interested public. 

Educational events

The Herbipôle facilities regularly support the organization of various events. In 2016, the « Ovinpiades » were organised on the site of Theix, to select among a group of qualified students, those who would represent the Auvergne region at a national level.

Also in 2016, the site of Marcenat received the national final of the herd dog competition.

During the organization of the open days on the INRAE Clermont-Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes centre, the general public is welcomed on the facilities of the Herbipôle where the research teams present their work.
